Five iPhone Duo accessories: Apple Pencil, fast chargers and cases

Five accessory categories have been recommended for Apple’s foldable iPhone Duo: writing, fast charging, in-car use, protection and smart-home monitoring. The list also includes AirPods Pro 3.

Apple Pencil support is scheduled for next week with the iOS 27.2 update. iPhone Duo will work only with Apple Pencil (USB-C), which can be used on both the outer and inner displays. The Pencil is listed at $69, reduced from $79.

Charging to 50% in 20 minutes

iPhone Duo supports charging to 50% in 20 minutes, but the fastest rate requires a compatible adapter. The recommendations are Apple’s 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max for $34, down from $39, and Anker’s 100W USB-C Charger with 5FT Cable for $29. The phone does not include a power adapter, only a USB-C cable.

Car mount and protective cases

The accessory list includes the ESR MagSafe Car Mount at $19, reduced from $29. Its magnetic attachment is designed for an air-conditioning vent and can be used with CarPlay.

Two third-party cases are also named: the SPIDERCASE Magnetic Case, with a built-in stand and screen protector, for $29; and the clear, MagSafe-compatible Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro for $39.

Cameras for Home Camera mode

iPhone Duo will expand StandBy mode so the phone can show different views while standing even when it is not charging. Home Camera and Home Modular will provide access to smart-home accessories.

The recommended HomeKit-compatible cameras are the Aqara G100 2K at $39 and eufy’s 4K camera at $69. The former is described as a budget option, while the latter supports 4K resolution.

AirPods Pro 3 are also included among the recommendations. The author highlights their noise cancellation and newer features but does not give a price.
