Apple lists countries where iPhone Duo will be sold to walk-in customers
Apple confirmed limited iPhone Duo stock for walk-in buyers in several markets on October 23. In other countries, customers will need to place online orders for store pickup.
Apple will have limited iPhone Duo inventory for customers who did not preorder at Apple Stores on the launch date, October 23.
The company told 9to5Mac that stores in selected countries will receive units for walk-in purchases. Because demand is high, that inventory is expected to sell out quickly.
Countries with walk-in inventory
Walk-in stock will be available in the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Macao, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, the UK and most stores in Italy.
Markets requiring online orders
In mainland China, France, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the UAE, customers will not be able to buy iPhone Duo as walk-ins. They will need to place an online order for store pickup.
Apple said its teams are preparing to welcome customers and showcase iPhone Duo alongside the rest of the iPhone lineup. Preorders for the new device quickly moved to backordered status, while reports of earlier delivery dates have not applied to every order.
