A selection of five accessory categories has been assembled for the foldable iPhone Duo: a stylus, chargers, a car mount, cases and smart-home cameras.

The iPhone Duo is expected to become available on October 23. The phone will start at $1,999, while Apple is not yet selling its own $129 Duo Folio case with a kickstand.

Apple Pencil support on both displays

iPhone Duo will be the first iPhone to support Apple Pencil. The feature is due later this year through a software update, and only the Apple Pencil (USB-C) will be compatible; it is currently priced at $69, down from $79.

The stylus will work on both the outer and inner displays. Apple says the foldable’s proportions were inspired by a standard A-series paper notebook.

Charging to 50% in 20 minutes

The phone will support fast charging, reaching up to 50% in 20 minutes. Recommended options for maximum speed include Apple’s 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max at $34, down from $39, and Anker’s 100W USB-C Charger with 5FT Cable for $29.

The power adapter will not be included in the box; Apple will provide only a USB-C cable.

Mounts and cases before launch

The accessory selection includes ESR’s MagSafe Car Mount for $19, reduced from $29. It attaches to an air-conditioning vent, while MagSafe holds the phone in place; combined with CarPlay, the Duo’s larger display could make navigation more convenient.

Third-party cases are already available as a way to preview the phone’s size and shape. The listed options are the $39 SPIDERCASE Magnetic Case with a built-in stand and screen protector, and the $34 clear, MagSafe-compatible Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro. The author says these cases have not been tested personally.

Cameras for StandBy mode

When placed in a standing position, iPhone Duo will be able to show StandBy views even when it is not charging. The options will include Home Camera and Home Modular, with access to smart-home accessories.

Recommended HomeKit-compatible security cameras include the Aqara G100 2K at $39 and eufy 4K at $59.
