Apple unveiled the HomeView smart display, a new Apple TV 4K and the HomePod mini 2, with pre-orders opening on Amazon.

HomeView costs $299, with first orders scheduled to arrive November 13. The HomePod mini 2 costs $149, and deliveries are set to begin October 30.

HomeView comes in two formats

HomeView has a 7-inch square Liquid Retina display with True Tone and up to 500 nits of brightness. Brightness can drop to 0.3 nits for bedside use.

Apple is offering a tabletop version with a domed speaker base and tilting stainless-steel hinge, alongside a wall-mounted model. The device recognizes up to six people and provides each with a separate Home Screen, apps and widgets.

Its interface adjusts to viewing distance, showing simpler information from across the room and more detail up close. HomeView also supports Siri AI, with personal context available when paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad.

Apple TV 4K gets the A19 chip

The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K uses an A19 chip that delivers up to 50% faster CPU performance and twice the GPU performance of the previous model. It also includes built-in far-field microphones, allowing users to call Siri with “Siri” or “Hey Siri” without pressing the remote button.

The device costs $299, with first deliveries expected November 13. The upgraded Siri Remote adds Find My, Precision Finding and a built-in speaker; it can also be pre-ordered separately for $59, with deliveries scheduled for November 13.

HomePod mini 2 adds audio lighting

The HomePod mini 2 supports Siri AI with personal context when paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad. That feature will arrive in a future software update.

Sound Glow turns the speaker’s top into a light display that pulses with music and matches colors to album artwork. The device comes in green, pink, blue, midnight and white.
