Halide 3.2 arrives with Aperture Priority mode for iPhone 18 Pro
Halide has released version 3.2 of its professional iPhone camera app. The update adds Aperture Priority mode for iPhone 18 Pro, plus two new looks and 16:9 shooting for all iPhones.
Halide has released version 3.2 of its Halide Mark III professional camera app. The update supports the new iPhone 18 Pro camera system and adds several features for iPhone photographers generally.
On iPhone 18 Pro, the update introduces Aperture Priority mode. Users choose a target f-number, while the app adjusts shutter speed and ISO automatically. Halide supports any value from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4.0; fully manual mode also provides direct ISO control.
Two new looks for iPhone photos
Halide 3.2 adds the dawn and quicksilver looks to all iPhones. Dawn gives mid-tones and highlights a film-like warmth with rich shadows, while quicksilver combines high contrast with muted colors.
The update also adds a 16:9 shooting mode.
Halide launched Mark III in May with a redesigned camera, a new photo editor and Halide looks. Version 3.1 arrived in July with perspective correction and RAW-only capture.
Halide Mark II is available as a one-time purchase for $69.99, while subscribers can access the new app for $19.99 per year.
