A PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6 could launch during the first quarter of 2027, GamesBeat reports. Rockstar has still not officially announced the game for personal computers.

Under that timeline, the PC release would arrive no more than four months after the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S launch. GamesBeat attributes the report to four anonymous industry sources familiar with Rockstar’s plans.

Rockstar has not commented on the claim.

A shorter platform gap

The reported window would be unusually early for the series. Grand Theft Auto 3 reached PC seven months after its console release, while GTA 6 could have a shorter gap.

The source also notes that Take-Two’s next quarterly financial report is scheduled for November 9. That could provide an opportunity for an announcement, but the company has not indicated that one is planned.

The premium edition of GTA 6 is reported to cost $100. Some users on social media say they would wait for the PC version if it arrives soon after the console release.
