An Instagram video posted by @thetechchap shows the iPhone Duo beside the iPhone 18 Pro Max in different orientations. Apple’s technical specifications identify the foldable model as having the largest display ever used in an iPhone.
When unfolded, the iPhone Duo measures 6.48 inches across, compared with 6.43 inches in height for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. In one orientation, that makes their longest dimensions nearly identical.
Comparing the phones in different orientations
Apple lists height and width for the standard expected use of each device, although both models can be held in either orientation. The Duo’s other dimension is 4.64 inches, versus 3.07 inches for the iPhone 18 Pro Max’s width.
Unlike the Pro Max, the iPhone Duo folds shut. That gives it a more compact form for carrying and one-handed use, while the video focuses on the visible size difference between the two phones.
