Apple has released the third iOS 27.2 developer beta for iPhone. The update follows the public launch of iOS 27 and precedes the eventual release of iOS 27.2.

The build includes the redesigned Health app first shown during the iPhone 18 Pro event. Siri’s AI language support now covers French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.

Changes in Apple apps

Apple Podcasts has renamed Up Next to New Episodes and moved Continue Playing directly below it. Episode lists now use backgrounds matched to podcast colors.

Apple Music now uses less of the icon’s color for labels in the app.

Separate release for iPhone Duo

iOS 27.2 is the next version after iOS 27’s official launch on September 14. Apple has presented iOS 27.1 as a release focused on iPhone Duo.

Apple said the iOS 27.1 SDK would let developers take full advantage of the iPhone Duo display. On September 18, the company also released the Xcode 27.1 beta with an iPhone Duo simulator and support for developing apps for the foldable iPhone.

The first public beta of iOS 27.2 was released last month. Apple said it would cover further features and changes from the third beta in a separate roundup if new details are found.
