Apple has released the fourth developer beta of its upcoming iOS 27.2 update. The test build arrives one week after the third iOS 27.2 beta.

The company also seeded a new iPadOS 27.2 beta. Registered developers can download both updates through Settings > General > Software Update by selecting the iOS 27 developer beta.

New features in iOS 27.2

iOS 27.2 includes Apple’s redesigned Health app with Insight and Longevity tabs. The update also adds Siri AI in new languages.

Apple previously said the new Siri AI languages would become available in October. The company also says iOS 27.2 is required for the new HomeView.

Update ahead of iPhone Duo

Releasing an iOS 27.2 beta before an iOS 27.1 beta was unexpected because Apple plans to ship the iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1. The source suggests the company may be seeking to keep some iPhone Duo features undisclosed for longer.

The iPhone Duo is scheduled to launch on October 23. iOS 27.2 will likely arrive shortly after that date, although Apple has not announced an exact release schedule.
