Code Vein II: Mask of Idris DLC launches September 9, 2026 — post‑game Forsaken World with two companions

Bandai Namco and PlayStation announced that the first paid expansion for Code Vein II, Mask of Idris, will launch on September 9, 2026.

The DLC is a standalone post‑game story that alters history and takes place in a new area called the Forsaken World; at its center is the Spindle of Pathos. Free Update Version 2.0, adding post‑game features and partner content, will release at the same time.

Players will be joined by two companions in the Forsaken World: Liv Voda, the guardian of the Temporal Rift, and an alternate Lou Magmell. The expansion adds new weapons and Formae, including the Grave Knocker Formae and the Sword of Karma.

Access to Mask of Idris requires completion of the main game’s “Luna Fraterna” ending and the sub‑mission “Valentin’s request.”

Bandai Namco and PlayStation state the expansion will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Regional Bandai Namco pages note the DLC is included in Deluxe and Ultimate editions or can be purchased separately.

The Forsaken World grew from expanding Temporal Rifts—pockets of alternate history created by the actions of the hero Idris—and the Spindle of Pathos draws emotions across time and space, threatening the protagonists’ world.
