EA Sports FC 27: 10-hour EA Play trial is now available

The 10-hour EA Sports FC 27 trial is now available to EA Play members on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Xbox on PC. Access is also included for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.

If a player buys the full game, progress from the trial carries over. EA Play members can also receive up to 10% off the full game, FC Points and other EA digital purchases.

The Grounds introduces a new mode

The Grounds is exclusive to Xbox Series X|S. Players can meet, play, recruit Club members and compete in Kickabouts, small-sided 2v2 matches and Clubs-only 11v11 stadium tournaments. The mode includes three districts shaped by football culture, along with mentors and activities beyond the pitch.

Gameplay systems receive updates

The game adds improved teammate spatial awareness, more intelligent curved runs and more fluid attacking movement. Off-balance dribbling is designed to preserve momentum through physical challenges, while redesigned set pieces provide real-time control over positioning and attacking intent.

A new two-player heading system is also included. Football Ultimate Team adds the Gallery, where players can curate and grade sets of past and present Player Items, raise their Gallery Level and earn rewards.

Career mode transfer market rebuilt

Manager Career features a rebuilt Transfer Market intended to be faster and more dynamic. Player values are influenced by a club’s buying power, the player’s potential, rating and current form.

EA Play members can claim two new items for The Grounds. The reward is available until December 1, after which players will no longer be able to claim it.

EA Play also includes unlimited access to a collection of games, trials of selected new releases and in-game member rewards. Conditions, limitations and exclusions are set out in the EA Play terms.
