Twitch’s CEO expects Grand Theft Auto 6’s online component to launch next year, despite Rockstar Games having released no official details about the mode.
If that expectation proves accurate, the timing of the PC version would remain the main unresolved release point. The source does not provide a more specific date for the multiplayer launch.
Rockstar has not detailed the mode
GTA 6 is expected to include an online component that would serve a role similar to GTA Online in Grand Theft Auto 5. Rockstar Games has not publicly confirmed those details.
Court documents filed by Rockstar during the final hearing in a case over the firings of 34 developers last year have also contributed to expectations that the game will receive an online mode. The source does not specify what information those documents contain.
