Apple plans to introduce three new smart-home products on Tuesday, October 13, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports.

The lineup is expected to include a long-awaited smart-home hub, a new HomePod mini and a new Apple TV. All three products are set to showcase Siri AI capabilities.

Faster chips and new colors

According to Gurman, the HomePod mini and Apple TV will retain their current designs but receive faster chips to support Siri AI. The HomePod mini is also expected to come in new colors, including pink and green.

All three products were originally planned for release in 2024. Their delay apparently relates to the preparation of Siri AI features.

Other devices in development

Apple plans to update the larger HomePod at a later date. The company is also working on a privacy-focused home security camera and sensor that can identify which room a person is in without recording video.

Apple is additionally developing a higher-end version of the hub with a 9-inch display mounted on a robotic arm that can swivel 360 degrees.
