Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies VR announced for Quest in 2027

AMATA Games, under license from Capcom, announced Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies VR for Quest and the newly announced Meta VR Glasses. The game is scheduled to launch in 2027.

It will support seven languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Courtroom trials in virtual reality

Players will take the roles of Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, and Athena Cykes while defending clients in the fifth mainline Ace Attorney game. The story begins in a damaged courtroom during what the developers describe as the “Dark Age of the Law,” when winning has overtaken the pursuit of truth.

The VR version will let players interact with witnesses and evidence, explore 3D crime scenes, and inspect them from different angles. It will support controllers, the voice-activated “OBJECTION!” command, and hand-tracked gestures.

The story spans multiple episodic cases featuring mysteries, contradictions, investigations, and the series’ characters. AMATA Games also said the game will use intuitive motion controls to examine evidence and uncover clues.
