Nightdive Studios posted a short teaser confirming a new campaign for Thief: The Dark Project Remastered titled 'The Tarnished Mirror.' The studio said it will reveal more on Nov. 2 (organizer timezone).

The teaser compiles posts about the achievements leak and ends with new key art of Garrett by Alexandru "Dominus" Negoita, the remaster logo, and an audio clip of Garrett saying, "Huh, not so secret anymore." The reporter states a strong belief that the line is taken from existing game recordings rather than a new performance by Stephen Russell.

The campaign name first appeared in a trove of Steam achievement data obtained by Exophase; Exophase later removed the most spoilery items, though an original listing remains accessible via the Wayback Machine.

Thief Remastered is described with a Winter 2026 launch window. The reporting also notes Nightdive plans related releases: a graphic novel and an original soundtrack featuring Garrett's voice.
