PC Gamer has assembled brief updates on Steam’s 20 most-wishlisted games, covering projects with new trailers and tests as well as titles whose developers have been quiet for months.

The roundup includes a major visual update and six new heroes for one game, along with confirmed or expected release windows for several others.

Updates, trailers and tests

Sean Murray mentioned Light No Fire in a No Man’s Sky Cosmos video published on September 9. Flexus posted an extensive Q&A on October 2, but provided no new pricing or release-date information.

One game received a major visual update and six new heroes, including Rat King, on October 2. Another project published lore material on September 21 and remains, as far as known, scheduled for a February release.

Several games received September gameplay material, new trailers or Steam playtest sign-ups. Another held a closed beta last month, but still has no announced full-release date.

Release dates and delayed projects

A game with preorders already open remains scheduled to launch on October 28. Another followed an August trailer and a September date announcement and is described as on track for a February 2027 release.

Several projects still lack a precise calendar: one is slated for 2027, while another has a 2026 window with no month attached. Studio Wildcard has provided no newer details on its repeatedly delayed sequel since March.

Soulframe’s pre-alpha version, Preludes, continues to receive regular patches, with the latest arriving in September. The bodycam-shooter studio announced hires for a game designer and a 3D character artist in late September, but has posted neither a release date nor a release year.

Other games in the roundup

For other entries, the latest developments include a recent cinematic trailer, near-weekly Steam developer blogs about different modes, and a chain weapon announced for Dragon’s Dogma 2 DLC. The weapon can be used against an enemy called “Swarmions.”

The roundup also mentions a co-op driving indie game due in less than two weeks at the time of publication. Its developers stream weekly on Twitch.
