General-admission tickets for next June’s Glastonbury festival go on sale online at 9am BST on Sunday (8am UTC). The next member-priority release for the Bayeux Tapestry opens at noon BST on 6 October (11am UTC), with public sales scheduled for 21 October.

One person can buy up to six Glastonbury tickets in a single transaction. Everyone already on glastonbury.seetickets.com when sales begin will be assigned a place in the queue.

Buyers should check registration details, including the postcodes of everyone in their group. Registration for this year is closed, and the purchase requires funds for a £100 deposit per person.

Preparing for the Glastonbury sale

The festival allows only five minutes on the booking page. Organisers therefore advise groups to prepare a shared list of details, use a group chat, save payment information in a browser and keep a phone ready for possible payment verification.

The registration number appears to be required before entering the queue. Each buyer then receives a unique queue ID linked to that number, which appears to limit each person to one queue position.

Using several browsers or devices can result in a buyer being blocked as an automated bot. Ticket sites advise logging in early; if tickets appear sold out shortly after launch, refreshing for several minutes may help because failed or abandoned purchases can return to sale.

Bayeux Tapestry priority access

British Museum members who joined by 16 September can book on 6 October for visits from 1 January to 31 March 2027. People joining now can book before the general public for April-to-July 2027 dates; standard individual membership starts at £82.

Some theatres and concert promoters also offer free presale access through email alerts. After a sellout, buyers can check official waiting lists and resale services such as Twickets, where tickets are sold for no more than face value plus fees.
