Apple released the first iOS 27.2 beta, arriving instead of an iOS 27.1 beta.

The update includes a redesigned Health app organized into three tabs: Insights, Longevity and Browse. Insights surfaces recent relevant health metrics such as vitals, sleep score, heart rate and Activity Rings. Longevity shows trends and calculates a "Health Age" using activity, VO2 max, sleep time and other metrics. Some in‑app assessments — flexibility, strength, balance and VO2 max — can use the iPhone camera. The revamped Health app is available only in U.S. English in this beta.

Siri AI in this beta adds support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.

Apple Intelligence Call Context will display anniversary alerts in the Phone app when a contact has an anniversary set in Contacts.

CarPlay Ultra gains theme options for wallpaper, gauge style and color; code indicates ambient lighting in supported vehicles may match the selected theme.

The Apple TV app on iPhone and iPad now supports profiles. Profiles require a name, a profile rating and whether the account is for a child; child accounts default to PG content limits with a customize option to pick age ratings for TV and movies. There is also a new toggle in the TV app settings to enable sign language interpretation when available.

Music receives reduced red accents: Play and Shuffle buttons in Library are black, as are the icons beside Library sections. Clock now shows a smaller a.m./p.m. readout compared with the time.

In Settings, App Access under Siri was renamed to "Excluded Apps"; tapping "Add Apps" presents a list to exclude multiple apps at once. Excluded apps are prevented from appearing in Siri, Search and suggestions.

Up Next in Music has been renamed to New Episodes with a Continue Playing option below it.

Apple’s release notes state App Tracking Transparency supports an alternative expanded prompt for EU users and annual re‑prompting; the alternative prompt is required for users in France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Romania.

Several features described are limited to the beta build or specific language/region settings.
