World premiere of Bunker in Venice with Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem — jury members attended

The world premiere of Florian Zeller’s Bunker took place at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

The premiere was attended by the film’s cast — Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Stephen Graham, Paul Dano and Patrick Schwarzenegger — and members of the festival jury, including Maggie Gyllenhaal and Luca Guadagnino.

The story follows an architect who accepts a morally ambiguous commission to build a survival bunker for a tech billionaire; the architect’s wife, after seventeen years of marriage, begins to question their relationship.

Bunker is described as a dramatic thriller that examines the emotional and moral challenges faced by the couple as anxieties about an increasingly uncertain world reshape their marriage.
