Russian drone hits Kyiv headquarters of We Are Ukraine: building partially collapsed, fatalities reported

A Russian drone struck the Kyiv building housing the TV channel We Are Ukraine during a live broadcast, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Zelensky published photos showing a partially collapsed building and said that overnight and daytime strikes on Kyiv had killed at least five people and left many more wounded.

Local authorities issued air raid alerts and urged civilians to take shelter; residents used underground metro stations during the overnight attacks.

The State Emergencies Service (DSNS) reported that a series of explosions overnight killed three people and injured about 25; residential buildings were hit, including a five-storey house in the Solomianskyi district, and vehicles caught fire in the Podilskyi district.

Russian reports said buildings in the city of Saratov were struck during a Ukrainian drone attack, regional governor Roman Busargin said.

Talks by US envoys Stephen Wittkoff and Jared Kushner in Moscow and Kyiv, during which both sides had agreed to a three-day halt to strikes on each other's capitals, ended without major breakthroughs, and Zelensky said he expected the war to continue into winter.
