Ashly Burch says she has 270+ hours in Slay the Spire 2 and prefers distinct, non‑stoic characters

Ashly Burch, voice actor for Tiny Tina, Chloe and Aloy, discussed her Steam Deck library and gaming habits in a Disk Cleanup interview.

According to Steam, Burch has 270 hours in Slay the Spire 2; she described the early-access title as addictive, well-designed and comparable to the original Slay the Spire. She highlighted the game's balance of luck and skill and pointed to small visual and character details — for example, the Regent and his trembling minions — as reasons it feels full.

Burch named Return of the Obra Dinn as the detective game she first fell in love with and said Chants of Sennaar became a recent favourite in the genre. She said she often keeps physical notebooks while playing detective games because the act of tracking leads feels part of the experience.

She said she prefers cosy games when she needs to relax and praised Fields of Mistria for giving many village characters distinct personalities. Burch also said she mostly plays on a Steam Deck and that Kentucky Route Zero is the oldest game currently installed on that device.

On character types, Burch criticized the prevalence of stoic, badass protagonists in games and said she wants “more shitty little bitches,” citing a preference for less‑stoic, more characterful figures.

She mentioned playing League of Legends ARAM with friends for a time and said she uses Audacity and Fade In for voice auditions and script work.
