Ranveer Singh has become the first Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta brand ambassador in India. The company described the partnership as a new chapter for the brand in the Indian market.

Ray-Ban also introduced Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, a slimmer version with longer battery life and a new customizable action button for quick access to Meta AI.

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 specifications

The glasses are available in 27 color and lens combinations across three styles: Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer. To mark the Aviator’s 90th anniversary, Ray-Ban is releasing a limited-edition model in a vintage-inspired colorway.

Gen 3 offers up to nine hours of battery life, one hour more than Gen 2. Its six-microphone array reduces background noise by more than 90%, while a 12-megapixel camera records 3K Ultra HD video. A built-in LED alerts people nearby when photos or video are being captured.

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 is sold through Meta and Ray-Ban websites, as well as electronics, optical and eyewear retailers in India. Prices start at INR 44,300.

Lighter audio glasses and Muse

Ray-Ban also introduced Audio, its lightest and slimmest AI glasses. They weigh 43 grams, provide up to 12 hours on a single charge and offer up to 48 additional hours through the included charging case.

In the coming months, the company plans to bring Muse to its AI glasses. The assistant will activate by voice and respond to what the wearer is viewing, including products, flyers and lists.
