AirPods Pro 3 drop to $179 weeks after receiving new features
Amazon has cut the price of Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 to $179 shipped, $70 below their $249 list price. The discount arrives weeks after Apple added new features to the earbuds alongside iOS 27.
Amazon has reduced the price of Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 to $179 shipped ahead of the fall Prime Big Deal Days sale. The earbuds have a $249 list price.
The discount totals $70. The source says AirPods Pro 3 reached $199 several times this summer, but had dropped to $179 only once before this offer.
New features after the update
The price cut comes weeks after Apple added new AirPods Pro 3 capabilities alongside iOS 27. The update included Custom EQ, which lets users adjust the earbuds’ sound profile.
It also introduced new ways to control Adaptive Audio and improved Find My integration.
Comparing them with AirPods 5
Apple recently launched AirPods 5 in two versions: a base model with noise cancellation for $129 and an edition with a Wireless Charging Case for $149.
AirPods Pro 3 are $30 more than the higher-priced AirPods 5 model. The source also cites three-times-better active noise cancellation, longer battery life, onboard heart-rate sensing and Hearing Aid features for the Pro model.
