Apple has set out when Siri AI will reach its Apple TV 4K and HomePod models. The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K will support the feature at launch on November 13, while the second- and third-generation models are scheduled to receive it in tvOS 27.2.

The HomePod mini 2 ships on October 30, but Siri AI will arrive later through a software update. Apple has also confirmed that the first-generation HomePod mini will not support the feature, contrary to an earlier CNET report.

Supported models and requirements

Siri AI will be available on the second-, third- and fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, as well as HomePod mini 2. Support for HomePod 2 remains unconfirmed; it is mentioned only in website metadata.

For compatible HomePod and Apple TV 4K models, the home owner must have an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad running the latest software, with Siri AI enabled and set to a supported language. Other household members do not need such a device unless they use personal requests.

HomeView does not require an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad for Siri AI, except for requests using personal context. At launch, Siri AI for HomeView, Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2 will be English-only and limited to eight countries: the United States, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and the United Kingdom.

Siri AI is currently unavailable on iPhone and iPad in the European Union, so it will not be available on compatible home devices there. HomeView is also not launching in the EU. Apple continues to label Siri AI as a beta.
