Nintendo has revealed Hall of Fallen Foes, a new area in the Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The location was shown in a five-minute gameplay trailer.
The hall will contain statues of defeated monsters that players can examine to learn about them. It will also offer rematch battles against bosses.
Remake features and release
The remake will include overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue, and full symphonic orchestral music. The Switch 2 microphone will recognize a melody Link has learned when players hum it or play it on a real instrument, prompting the in-game ocarina to respond.
The game will also support Zelda Notes, a service available through the Nintendo Switch App for compatible smart devices. The remake launches on November 5, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2.
Two new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time amiibo figures are scheduled for 2027. They will unlock special in-game masks, while existing The Legend of Zelda amiibo will provide additional rewards during gameplay.
