Nintendo has released a five-minute overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. The game is due out for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5.
In the rebuilt version, Link travels through Hyrule with the fairy Navi, battles monsters and searches for the Triforce. The remake also features overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue and full symphonic orchestral music.
Ocarina responds through the microphone
The Switch 2 microphone can detect a melody hummed or played on a real instrument by the player. Link’s in-game ocarina then responds by playing the corresponding melody.
Hall of Fallen Heroes and ZELDA NOTES
The remake introduces the Hall of Fallen Heroes, a location containing statues of defeated monsters. Players can learn about the enemies there or challenge them to rematch battles.
The game will also support ZELDA NOTES through the Nintendo Switch App for compatible smart devices. Nintendo plans to release two new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time amiibo figures in 2027; they will unlock special masks, while existing Zelda amiibo will provide rewards during gameplay.
