Sony Opens Preorders for $149.99 God of War Laufey Box Without the Game

Sony has opened preorders for the God of War: Laufey Collector Box, which will be sold exclusively through PlayStation Direct. The box is scheduled to launch on February 16, 2027.

The price is $149.99 in the United States, €149.99 in Europe and £129.99 in the United Kingdom. The package includes neither a game disc nor a digital code for God of War: Laufey, so the game must be purchased separately.

Contents of the Collector Box

The set includes an approximately 20-centimeter statue of Freya depicting Freya, Pffrank and Ryu fighting Bagtse soldiers. Pffrank lights up when the statue is connected to a power source via USB.

Buyers will also receive a 51-card oracle deck with original illustrations by artist Megan Lara, focused on adventures in the world of Everywhen. The third item is a physical mini art book featuring concept art of characters, creatures and locations selected by Santa Monica Studio’s team.

The number of boxes will be limited. The supplied information does not specify how many units Sony plans to produce.

Earlier collector’s editions in the series had different contents: God of War Ragnarök included Thor’s hammer, a steelbook, digital PS4 and PS5 game codes and additional memorabilia, while the 2018 God of War edition featured Kratos and Atreus statues, a steelbook with a disc, a physical map, a lithograph and Brok and Sindri figures.
