Shopify has released Shopcast, a new Apple TV app that turns the screen into a dashboard for monitoring a Shopify store.

The app displays sales, orders, units sold and average order value. It also includes an interactive globe for reviewing order activity, as well as the busiest retail locations and customer markets.

Separate data for connected stores

Shopcast lets users switch between connected stores while keeping each store’s data separate. A light or dark interface can be selected.

The app is controlled with the Apple TV remote. Its views include Revenue, Overview, Products, Retail and Geography, while dashboard totals refresh periodically during the day.

An existing Shopify store is required

Shopcast requires an existing Shopify store, authorized access through Shopify and an internet connection. Available information depends on account permissions; products, orders and settings continue to be managed in Shopify.

The app is available through the App Store on Apple TV and currently supports English only.
