‘Gears of War: E-Day’ launches on GeForce NOW with RTX 5080-class streaming

‘Gears of War: E-Day’ has joined the GeForce NOW library following its global release on Oct. 6. Set 14 years before the first game, the prequel depicts Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago’s first confrontation with the Locust Horde on Emergence Day.

Ultimate members can stream the game with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance, along with NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex. The title supports campaign, cooperative and competitive modes.

GeForce NOW is adding 10 games this week, including seven new releases. Other listed additions include STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and Order of the Sinking Star.

This week’s new releases

Gears of War: E-Day launched on Steam and Xbox on Oct. 6 and is available through Game Pass. STAR WARS: Galactic Racer arrived on Steam on Oct. 6, while Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and Order of the Sinking Star are scheduled for Steam on Oct. 8.

The dates refer to releases on the respective stores. GeForce NOW availability may differ because games are added after launch and throughout the week.

Amazon subscription purchases for Fire TV

Fire TV users will soon be able to buy GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon. NVIDIA said the option is expected to become available in the coming weeks.

The Xbox version of Dune: Awakening, previously announced for GeForce NOW in September, has not joined the service. The company said availability updates will be provided through GFN Thursday announcements.
