Redeeming a code in-game
After roughly 30 minutes of play, players gain access to a PC at the Pokémon Center. At the PC in town, press the A Button, choose Get Items, then Mystery Gifts and Get with Code/Password.
Connect to the Internet and enter the code. The gift is delivered to the game automatically, followed immediately by an automatic save.
