Google’s Pixel 11 Pro XL is the largest phone in the company’s 2026 Pixel range. It has a 6.8in OLED display, aluminium sides, a glass back and a battery rated to last nearly two days.

Prices start at £1,279 (€1,399/$1,299/A$2,099), £80 more than last year’s model. The phone comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and at least 256GB of storage.

Triple-camera system

The rear camera system combines a 50MP wide camera, a 48MP ultrawide and a 48MP telephoto with 5x magnification. The front-facing camera has a 42MP sensor.

The updated Night Sight mode captures images about three to four times faster, while Magic Capture automatically takes photos and video with one press. The telephoto camera provides a strong 10x crop zoom, digital zoom works to 30x, and generative AI extends magnification to 120x.

Display, performance and battery

The Pixel 11 Pro XL uses Google’s Tensor G6 chip and supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, eSIM, UWB, NFC, Bluetooth 6, Thread and GNSS. It feels fast in everyday use, but its raw gaming performance falls behind the leading chips in rival flagships.

Battery testing delivered nearly two days of use, including more than six hours of active screen time across 5G and Wi-Fi. That is longer than the Pixel 11 Pro but slightly shorter than the Pixel 10 Pro XL.

Android 17 and repair options

The phone runs Android 17 and is supported until August 2033. It includes a six-month Google AI Pro subscription with Gemini Omni, higher AI limits, 5TB of cloud storage and Google Health Premium.

The device contains 33% recycled material by weight. Google, third-party repair shops and owners can repair it, while Google will recycle old devices free of charge.
