Apple could introduce a redesigned MacBook Pro with a touchscreen as early as October or delay the launch until November. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman discussed the timing on his new weekly podcast.

The device is also expected to feature an OLED display. Apple is reportedly testing it internally with macOS 27.2, a beta version recently released to developers.

Gurman said Apple typically launches new Macs in the late-October to early-November window. He previously warned that the MacBook Pro redesign could slip to early 2027, but his latest update points to a possible fall release.

Apple’s late-October Mac window

The product could be marketed as a MacBook Pro, although earlier reports also referred to a possible MacBook Ultra. Apple has not announced an exact presentation date, so the October timing remains Gurman’s estimate.

The report also says Apple may launch an Apple TV 4K, a HomePad and a HomePod mini on October 13. New Macs could follow in late October or early November, while the iPhone Duo is listed as shipping on October 23.
