Monster Hunter Stories 3 launches on Xbox for PC on November 18, 2026

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will launch on Xbox for PC on November 18, 2026. The game is already available on Xbox Series X|S.

The PC release will support Xbox Play Anywhere. Players will be able to continue on Xbox Series X|S, Windows 11 PCs and compatible handheld devices at no extra cost, with saves, additional content and achievements carried across platforms.

Story and gameplay features

The game is a turn-based RPG set in the Monster Hunter universe. It follows the prince or princess of Azuria, the country’s only Rathalos Rider, and Eleanor, princess of Vermeil, as they enter forbidden ground to uncover the truth behind events unfolding across the world.

Its features include evolving turn-based battles and Habitat Restoration, which lets players release monsters into the wild and change an area’s Ecosystem rank.

After the main story, players can load cleared save data to challenge a higher-difficulty version of the final boss. Defeating it makes Royal versions of nearly all monsters appear across the map, alongside Royal Invasive Monsters and Royal Calamitous Elder Dragons.

Monster Hunter Stories turns 10

The Monster Hunter Stories series will mark its 10th anniversary on October 8, 2026. Three games have been released so far, built around becoming a Rider, forming bonds with monsters and exploring the Monster Hunter world.

Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be available through Free Play Days from October 22 to October 25, 2026. The three-hour trial does not require an Xbox Game Pass membership.

The Side Story: Rudy DLC is already available. It is included with the Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Kit.
