Meta Names Dhruv Vohra to Lead Southeast Asia Business

Meta has appointed Dhruv Vohra as Managing Director, Global Business Group, Southeast Asia. He will lead the company’s commercial strategy across six countries and report to Benjamin Joe, Vice President for Asia Pacific.

Vohra will oversee teams working with advertisers and agencies, helping businesses use artificial intelligence and grow through Meta’s family of apps.

Responsibility across six markets

His remit covers Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. He will also work to deepen Meta’s partnerships across the region.

Benjamin Joe said Southeast Asia is one of Meta’s fastest-growing business regions and pointed to Vohra’s experience with local businesses as relevant to the company’s next phase.

Seven years at Meta

Vohra has worked at Meta since 2019. He began as Director for e-commerce and digital natives, later led small and medium business growth in Southeast Asia, and then expanded that responsibility to the SMB Group across Asia Pacific.

He also writes the LinkedIn newsletter Small to Scale: Inside APAC’s Innovative SMBs about the region’s small and medium-sized businesses and contributed to the SYNC Southeast Asia series on digital consumers and e-commerce trends.
