Moshe Rosenthal’s Tell Me Everything Wins Ophir Best Picture and Becomes Israel’s Oscar Submission

Moshe Rosenthal’s Tell Me Everything won Best Picture at the Ophir Awards and, under Israel’s rules, thereby became the country’s official submission to the Oscars' Best International Feature category for 2027.

The film picked up 10 Ophir trophies during the ceremony, including Best Director and Best Screenplay for Rosenthal. It had entered the night with a record 16 nominations.

By tradition, the Ophir Best Picture winner is automatically selected as Israel’s Oscar entry in the international feature race, so Tell Me Everything will represent Israel at the 2027 contest.

Coverage of the 2027 international feature submissions also lists entries from Sweden, Thailand, Iceland and Palestine among recent national submissions.
