Meta unveiled Ray-Ban Meta Audio, its first audio-focused glasses, at Connect. The company also announced its largest expansion of AI glasses through its partnership with EssilorLuxottica.

By the end of the year, Meta says it will offer more than 100 glasses options across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses. The expansion includes lighter frames for all-day wear, slimmer designs, longer battery life and new software features.

Ray-Ban Meta Audio: 12-hour battery

Ray-Ban Meta Audio weighs 43 grams and runs for up to 12 hours on a single charge. The included charging case adds up to 48 hours. The glasses support calls, music, podcasts and hands-free AI interaction.

They come in 23 color-and-lens combinations across the Clubmaster and Burbank styles. Pre-orders start at $349, with shipping scheduled for October 13.

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3: camera and sound

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) offers up to nine hours of battery life—one hour more than Gen 2—and a customizable button for quick access to Meta AI. Meta says its six-microphone array reduces background noise by more than 90%.

The glasses include a 12-megapixel camera and 3K Ultra HD video recording. They come in 27 color-and-lens combinations across the Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer styles. Prices start at $449, and sales have begun.

Later this year, Meta says its AI glasses will become the first consumer devices able to capture and play back video with Dolby Atmos and 360-degree spatial sound.

New Meta Glasses models

Meta added the Capri and Nova styles to its Meta Glasses collection and introduced more customization options. The LISA Edition collection includes Meta Adventurer LISA Edition and Meta Capri LISA Edition; both support prescription lenses and start at $399.

The company also introduced an Ivory colorway for Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner. The new Meta Adventurer, with a black frame and grey lenses, is Meta’s most affordable option, starting at $249 with a plug-in case. Pre-orders are open, and sales begin October 23.

Meta is launching Mix & Match, allowing customers to select frames, lenses and case colors online or at Meta Lab stores. New Meta Glasses are now available in Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates, with Brazil coming soon. Later this year, the glasses are also expected to reach additional markets including Poland, Turkey and Portugal.
