“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” will stream free on Oct. 17-18, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” on Nov. 14-15, and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Dec. 12-13.
Free streaming dates
The no-subscription access applies only during the listed weekends. Apple TV subscribers are not restricted to those dates.
A 2020 petition calling for the specials to return to broadcast television received hundreds of thousands of signatures. Apple then allowed the programs to air on PBS in 2020 and 2021.
Since then, Apple has offered the specials free for short periods through its streaming service. This holiday season’s Apple TV lineup also includes “Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy” and “Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift.”
