Game Pass adds Battlefield 6, Valor Mortis and 11 more games in mid-October

Microsoft announced a mid-October expansion of Game Pass. Fourteen new games are joining the catalog, including Battlefield 6, Valor Mortis and Forever Ago.

Several releases will be available on day one through Xbox Game Pass. The listed subscription options cover cloud gaming, consoles, PC and handheld devices.

Main catalog additions

Battlefield 6 will be available on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Ultimate subscribers also receive EA Play, 10 percent off eligible EA digital purchases and seasonal rewards.

Valor Mortis is a first-person Soulslike action game from the creators of Ghostrunner. Players take the role of a former soldier in Napoleon’s army who rises from the dead and uses supernatural powers.

Forever Ago is a single-player road-trip adventure about Alfred, who heads north after a tragic event. It will be available on cloud, console and PC through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Other mid-October releases

The lineup also includes Echo Weaver, Neon Abyss 2, Deep Dish Dungeon, Bluey’s Happy Snaps, Chained Beasts, Beyond These Stars, Shape of Dreams, Minecraft Dungeons II, Gears of War: E-Day and Asphalt Legends. Microsoft listed support for handheld devices, co-op play or cloud gaming for several of these titles.

Gears of War: E-Day is set 14 years before the original Gears of War and follows Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as the Locust Horde first emerges. Asphalt Legends adds the Ford GT MKII, 250 tokens and 250,000 credits.

Games leaving the service

Microsoft also said that A Plague Tale: Requiem, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Evil West, Pacific Drive, Superball and The Casting of Frank Stone will soon leave the library. The announcement did not provide a specific removal date.
