NVIDIA adds DLSS 4.5 controls to GeForce NOW alongside 10 new games

NVIDIA has added DLSS 4.5 controls to GeForce NOW. Players in supported games can now adjust image quality, responsiveness or the balance between the two in the cloud.

The settings are available in the GeForce NOW app for Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and SteamOS. DLSS Super Resolution sharpens images, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation reduces latency and stutter, and Ray Reconstruction improves ray-traced visuals.

Ultimate members using GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rigs get the broadest options, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X.

Two games arrive at launch

Enshrouded has left early access with its 1.0 release. The update adds nine spells, new mage and archer skills, reworked wands, upgradeable Eternal spells and arrows, new enemy variants and a new biome. The character level cap is now 50, while the equipment cap is 55.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is also streaming on GeForce NOW. Its branching single-player campaign includes two playable characters with different abilities and weapons, plus new enemies and environments ranging from hive cities to mangrove swamps.

10 new games join the library

This week’s additions include Deep Dish Dungeon, Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition and Valor Mortis on Oct. 13; Among the Trolls, over the hill and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 on Oct. 14; Beyond These Stars on Oct. 15; and Tenebris Somnia on Oct. 16. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered is listed for Xbox through the Microsoft Store.

The dates refer to releases on the respective stores. GeForce NOW availability may vary because games are onboarded after release.

NVIDIA also said the performance of DLSS 5’s 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model is improving 2X. The updated model is scheduled to debut in NBA 2K27 on Oct. 16 on GeForce NOW, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark laptops.
