NVIDIA prices 64GB DGX Spark above the 128GB model

NVIDIA announced a 64GB DGX Spark starting at $4,999. That is $1,000 above the original recommended price of the 128GB Founders Edition, which launched at $3,999.

The 128GB model now costs $6,000, while the new configuration is $300 more expensive than its current price. The 64GB version will be sold only through manufacturing partners, which will set their own configurations and regional prices.

Same platform, less memory

The lower-memory model retains the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, DGX OS and NVIDIA’s AI software stack. NVIDIA says it can run models with up to 100 billion parameters.

Its ConnectX-7 network controller allows multiple devices to connect directly through a QSFP cable. NVIDIA says two DGX Spark systems deliver up to 1.7 times the performance and twice the memory bandwidth, enabling work with models above 200 billion parameters without a data center.

AMD offers more memory

AMD systems based on Ryzen AI Halo and Ryzen AI MAX offer 128GB for $4,699, while 192GB versions start at about $6,500. The source says AMD solutions currently appear better value for large language models.

NVIDIA’s advantages remain the CUDA ecosystem and the ability to build clusters from multiple Spark systems. AMD counters with ROCm support and compatibility with Windows and Linux.
