Amazon cuts prices on Beats 360, Macs and Apple Watch ahead of Prime Day

Amazon has begun early discounts ahead of its fall Prime Big Deal Days event. The offers cover Beats 360 Cushion Kits, Mac mini and Mac Studio computers, and selected Apple Watch Ultra 4 models.

Prime Big Deal Days is scheduled for October 6, but some promotions have appeared before the event. Discounts also cover selected chargers, monitors and televisions, although the source does not provide a complete list of those offers.

Beats 360 kits fall to $9.99

Interchangeable ear cushion and headband kits compatible with the new Beats 360 are available for $9.99, down from $49.99. Beats announced the headphones last week; they come in Black and Cloud versions, as well as a bundle that allows buyers to mix accessories.

The source says supplies of the kits have started to decline since launch. The promotion is stated to last for one month.

First discounts arrive for new Macs

Amazon has introduced its first cash discounts on Mac mini and Mac Studio models launched last month. The largest reduction is $50: the Mac Studio with M5 Max, 36GB of memory and 512GB of storage costs $2,449.

Other offers include the M6 Mac mini with 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage at $879.99, a $19 reduction; the 512GB version at $1,069 after a $30 discount; and the M5 Pro Mac mini with 24GB of memory and 512GB of storage at $1,669.99 after a $29 reduction.

Apple Watch Ultra 4 gets a discount

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is available for $779.99 instead of $799, a $19 reduction. The source describes this as the first cash discount on selected models since the watch launched last month.

MacRumors says it has affiliate relationships with some vendors and may receive a small payment from purchases made through its links.
