Apple has added an Intelligent Assistant to Keynote, Numbers and Pages. The feature is available in beta to Apple Creator Studio subscribers, while the apps have returned to the App Store after a temporary removal.
In Numbers, the assistant can build formulas, visualize data, generate tables and help create formulas through natural-language prompts. In Pages, it can produce a first draft, write sections, adjust tone, and generate images or shapes.
Keynote and shared features
In Keynote, the tool can help build and refine slides, add animations, create presenter notes, and generate images and shapes. Across all three apps, it can search the web for information and add the results to a document, explain advanced features, and suggest actions to try.
Creator Studio subscribers also receive new templates and themes, along with curated videos in the Content Hub. The updates include bug fixes and performance improvements for all users.
Keynote additionally gains an Interchange Format for importing and exporting presentations. The updates also add iPhone Duo support to all three apps, although that feature was not listed in the release notes.
Keynote, Numbers and Pages remain free apps, with additional capabilities available through Creator Studio. The subscription costs $12.99 per month and works across Apple’s creator apps.
