Apple has released an updated watchOS 27.2 release candidate for registered developers and public beta testers. The first RC became available four days earlier.
The software can be downloaded through the Settings app on Apple Watch or the Apple Watch app on iPhone. The final release is expected next week, alongside the other 27.2 updates.
Siri AI Gains Broader Context
Siri AI can now retain useful context from earlier interactions, allowing users to ask about information it provided before. For example, users can ask about restaurants Siri recommended the previous week.
The assistant can also draw on more sources, including photos in Messages, Calendar event attendees and voicemails. On iPhone, it provides improved results from Safari history and Reading List.
Added Languages and Access Controls
Siri AI now supports French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. The feature is unavailable in the European Union and mainland China.
The Excluded Apps setting lets users choose from one iPhone control which apps Siri, Search and suggestions can access. The update also includes other features, bug fixes and security updates for Apple Watch.
