Apple appears to have tripled the iCloud Mail alias limit, increasing it from three to nine per user.

A Reddit user first noticed the change last week. A MacRumors forum member spotted it shortly afterward, and MacRumors then confirmed that the new limit is live on iCloud.com.

Apple’s User Guide Still Lists Three

Apple has not publicly announced the increase. Its iCloud User Guide still says users can create a maximum of three aliases.

Because Apple has not confirmed the change, it could theoretically be a test. MacRumors considers that unlikely, however, since the higher limit is already available on iCloud.com.
