Apple likely to announce Beats 360 in September after firmware 4A203 release

Apple released firmware 4A203 for the Beats 360, suggesting the product announcement may arrive in September (organiser timezone) and is approaching.

The headphones have appeared in regulatory databases and retail listings over recent months, and were seen being worn by soccer players Lamine Yamal and Antonee Robinson at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Early retail entries listed colours Black, Cloud, Sky and Pink, and described interchangeable Performance Knit and UltraPlush cushions and headbands, plus extra options such as Volt and Navy.

A product listing described a design with telescoping headband arms similar to the AirPods Max and claimed up to 1.75× more noise cancellation than the 2023 Beats Studio Pro. The listing also said Beats 360 will be Apple’s first over-ear headphones with an IPX4 sweat- and water-resistance rating.

Other listed features included a fold-flat design, a high-fidelity acoustic platform, all-day battery life, and hands-free Siri support — with code unearthed by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris indicating activation via “Hey Siri” or “Siri.”

Listings said the package would include interchangeable Performance Knit cushions and a woven ripstop carrying case, but customers would need to provide their own USB-C charging cable and power adapter. One listing named a U.S. price of $299.99, which remains unconfirmed; Beats Studio Pro are regularly priced at $349.99.

Given the regulatory filings, retailer postings, athlete sightings at the World Cup and the firmware release, an announcement this month appears likely, though Apple has not set an official date.
