Apple Arcade sets October 1 launch for five games, led by Pusheen’s Place

Apple announced that five new games will arrive on Apple Arcade on October 1, 2026. The release is led by Pusheen’s Place, the first officially licensed game starring Pusheen the Cat.

The lineup also includes River City Survivors, Terraria+, Touchgrind BMX 2+ and 4 Pics 1 Word+.

Five games in the October release

Pusheen’s Place lets players build a cozy setting, collect more than 100 cats and play Snack Stack, Parfait Pop and Batch Match. Characters include Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen.

River City Survivors is an action game built around zombie waves, more than 20 playable characters and support for up to two companions. The roster includes Kunio and Riki.

Terraria+ will include the Bigger & Boulder 1.4.5 update, featuring a Dead Cells crossover and Pals from Palworld. It supports up to seven players through Game Center or local Wi‑Fi.

Touchgrind BMX 2+ is a physics-based BMX stunt game with two-finger controls. 4 Pics 1 Word+ is the Arcade edition of the puzzle game that Apple says has reached more than 400 million players worldwide.

Pusheen’s Place will join Apple Arcade’s existing cozy titles, including Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom and Cozy Caravan. The service offers more than 200 games on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro without ads or in-app purchases.

In the U.S., Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month after a one-month free trial. Buyers of a new iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV receive three months free, and the service is included in Apple One plans in the U.S.
