Apple has opened Amazon pre-orders for the new AirPods 5. The standard model costs $129, while the version with a Wireless Charging Case is priced at $149.

Both earbuds officially launch on September 18. No pre-order discounts were available at the time of publication.

Discounts on older models

AirPods Max 2 are available for $449, down from $549, for a $100 discount. The promotion covers all five headphone colors; free delivery is expected around September 15, while Prime members may have same-day delivery in many locations.

AirPods Pro 3 are discounted to $199 from $249. That is the lowest price seen for the model since June’s Prime Day, although it remains about $20 above its all-time low.

The AirPods Pro 3 launched in September 2025. Features include twice the previous generation’s Active Noise Cancellation, improved audio, a revised fit, Live Translation for in-person conversations, and heart-rate sensing during workouts.

AirPods 4 are available for $99 instead of $129. This is the base model without Active Noise Cancellation, and the current price is the second-lowest recorded for the earbuds.
