Adobe announced two expansions of its AI integrations: Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Express and Firefly tools are now available in Google Gemini, while the Claude plugin has gained Acrobat capabilities.

The Gemini update is available to users on all plans. Through the chat, they can enhance photos, create marketing assets and adapt designs without leaving the conversation.

Acrobat adds PDF tools to Claude

Adobe’s plugin for Claude and Claude Code on desktop, web and mobile now supports PDF workflows. Users can delete, combine and split pages, redact sensitive information and convert documents to other formats.

A new interactive editor lets users reorder pages, edit text and add comments or highlights. The Document Review skill can also analyze a document and place recommendations and notations directly in the editor.

Adobe has also expanded Express in Claude with a layer-based interactive editor. Users can adjust individual images, text, colors and fonts instead of regenerating an entire design.

Adobe tools arrive in Gemini

To start using the integration, Gemini users must open Personal Intelligence, select Adobe under Connected Apps, and sign in to an Adobe account or create one for free.

Gemini can help prepare consistent product-photo collections, create social-media versions of a design and customize Express templates for a campaign, audience and preferred style.

Claude users can begin as guests. Signing in with an Adobe account provides higher usage limits, additional tools and continuity across sessions.
