NVIDIA updates DLSS 5, cutting GPU load by 50%

NVIDIA has introduced an October update to DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering. The model is twice as fast as the version released in early September, with availability for RTX 50, RTX Spark and GeForce NOW scheduled for October 16 (UTC time not provided).

ASRock to offer DeskSlim mini PCs with RTX Pro 4000 and up to 256GB RAM

ASRock has detailed its 5-liter DeskSlim X600 and B760 mini PCs. Both support desktop CPUs, up to 256GB of DDR5 memory and professional RTX Pro 4000 or 2000 graphics cards; pricing has not been announced.

The DeskSlim X600 and B760 use 5-liter chassis and support NVIDIA RTX Pro professional graphics.

d4r brings DLSS 4.5 to Radeon RX 9000, but support remains experimental

The d4r 0.1.2 update adds native DLSS 4 and 4.5 kernels for Radeon RDNA 4 cards. The implementation works in DirectX 12 games under Linux or Proton, but its RDNA 4 performance has not yet been tested.

Lisuan LX 7G100 Lost to the RTX 2060 and Radeon RX 6600 in Game Tests

PC Games Hardware tested the Chinese Lisuan LX 7G100 in 14 games and found it behind older Western graphics cards. At 1080p, it was 23% faster than the GTX 1060 but 55% slower than the RTX 2060 and 80% slower than the RX 6600.

In a 14-game test, the Lisuan LX 7G100 was 55% slower than the RTX 2060.
The Radeon RX 6600 was 80% faster than the Chinese card.
